I completed an MA in Drawing in July 2008, at Camberwell College of Art, London, during which I made monochrome drawings of the surface waters of the Thames, endeavouring to capture the shifting patterns of light. Photos taken from a water-level perspective while kayaking and walking along the river provided source material, and were also made into a book to accompany the much larger drawings. Broom Water 2 has been selected for inclusion in the annual exhibition of the Pastel Society, at the Mall Galleries, The Mall, London, June 10 - 21st 2009.

Broom water near Teddington was exhibited in the Dulwich Picture Gallery as part of the Friends Autumn Exhibition, October 25 - November 9, 2008

Travelling Drawing, Broom Water near Teddington and Broom Water 2 were displayed in the MA Degree show at Camberwell College of Art, July 1 - 6, 2008.

River Lea, near Old Ford Lock was selected for the annual University of the Arts show, Xhibit 08 , and was on display for the month of May at The Arts Gallery, 65 Davies St, London W1.

Most drawings are for sale, and commissions can be arranged. I am an active member of South London Women Artists, and my work can also be seen on our website www.southlondonwomenartists.co.uk
